We had an exciting visit from three special community helpers!  Constable Brent, Constable West, and Sabre visited our class!   We learned that police officers are responsible and hard working members of our community.  We talked about trying to make “good” choices in life.  We learned that police officers enjoy talking with children because they like to see happy faces. Sabre, the police dog, showed us how well he listens to his handler.  We laughed as Sabre tugged on his favourite pull toy!  Constable Brent left badges and stickers for us.  The children are proud to wear their badges!  Constable Brent will be pleased to know that we are working to learn our phone numbers and addresses.  Thank you to our brave police officers for keeping us safe and sharing their precious time with us.  We appreciate all that you do for our community.
