A Visit from the RCMP

Continuing with our Community Helpers theme, we had a visit from a local RCMP Constable.  Constable K helped us to understand the role of the RCMP in our Community.  Constable K reminded us to learn our phone number, address, Mom’s name.  She explained 911 to us and that in an emergency, the Dispatcher would appreciate all the information that we could provide.  We got to sit in the police cruiser and we didn’t touch the buttons!  We got to try on the handcuffs!  Constable K taught us that the RCMP are friendly, caring, people who love to help us.  Constable K left us Police Booklets to learn from and “tattoos” to enjoy!  Thank you to Constable K and all of the dedicated members of the RCMP.  We appreciate all that you do to keep our communities safe and “fun” to live in.  Social responsibility

Would you like to join the RCMP when you grow up?
